An ascending redline indicates the player is winning pots through pressure and aggression without needing to show cards. Players with a strong redline generally have high fold equity and effective bluffing strategies. In isolation, a high redline is insufficient if the blueline (showdown EV) is very negative, indicating excessive bluffing or poor value betting.
