A weak ace is any hand combining an ace with a low second card. These hands are seductive because the ace provides blocker value and can make a pair of aces, but they are difficult to navigate post-flop since the low kicker often loses to dominated ace-x hands. Weak aces are used as bluffs and light 3-bets for the ace blocker value.
