Pocket queens (QQ) is the third-strongest starting hand, trailing only AA and KK. They are a very strong hand that generally justifies 3-bets and 4-bets pre-flop, but requires consideration when facing very heavy action suggesting AA or KK. Nevertheless, folding QQ pre-flop is rarely correct against a balanced opponent.
