A rebuy allows a player to purchase more chips when their stack falls below a certain level or after being eliminated. In rebuy tournaments there is a defined period during which rebuys are permitted. In cash games rebuying is allowed between hands at any time. The availability of rebuys influences strategy, as players may play more aggressively when they can reload.
